All Transitional Kindergarten (TK) enrollments are processed by the Early Childhood Education Department.

Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten Eligibility
- Your child must be five years old on or before September 1, 2026.
Students currently enrolled in a Stockton Unified School District preschool program who meet Kindergarten eligibility requirements do not automatically roll over. Families must enroll with Central Enrollment for Kindergarten.
Enrollment Options

Required Documents
- Valid parent or guardian photo ID:
- State ID, driver’s license, passport, or employee ID
- Proof of child’s age:
- Birth certificate, passport, baptism certificate, or other birth record
- Current proof of address within 30 days:
- Property documents, such as rental or lease agreement or mortgage statement
- Utility bills, such as PG&E, water, cable, or credit card statement
- Government documents, such as paystub, CalWORKs, Social Security, or DMV record
- Child’s original immunization record
