Stockton USD Police Department

The Stockton Unified School District Department of Public Safety is one of a handful of specialized K-12 police agencies in California. The Department works 24/7 with a focus on students, staff, schools, and safety/security, serving more than 40,000 students, faculty, and staff across more than 60 schools in the greater Stockton community. Authorized staffing includes 37 sworn officers, 8 dispatchers, 3 professional staff, and 90 civilian safety and security personnel. Sworn personnel are peace officers pursuant to Penal Code 830.32 and Education Code 38000. The Department has been certified by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) since 1989.
