Specialty Schools and Programs
Stockton Unified School District offers a variety of unique schools and programs to meet the needs of many students. SUSD provides options including fundamental schools, career pathways, STEM, music, dual immersion, and other specialized programs.
Families are encouraged to review each specialized program and choose the school of interest beginning January 15, 2026.
Timelines and selection processes may vary. For non-lottery schools, families should review the school brochures or contact the school directly to confirm application requirements and deadlines.
Lottery School Important Dates
Online application period opens for the 2026–2027 school year.
Online application for random selection sites closes at 4:00 PM.
Lottery selection results available from 9:00 AM–11:00 AM.
Confirmation and application status are mailed to applicants.
As openings become available, applicants in the random selection process will be placed in schools. Other applicants will remain on a waiting list as determined by the selection process.

Applying to Specialty Schools
Specialty School applications and the priority enrollment process are only for TK–8 schools. For high school programs, contact the school directly.
2026–2027 applications are accepted between January 15, 2026 and February 17, 2026 at 4:00 PM for the Priority Enrollment Lottery process.
The Enrollment Lottery will be held on February 20, 2026. Parents will be informed of lottery school placement beginning February 24, 2026.
