Injury & Illness Prevention Program

Stockton Unified School District is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and productive work environment for all employees. To support this commitment, the District has established an Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) designed to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses through proactive safety practices, employee involvement, and continuous improvement.

The IIPP outlines the District’s safety goals, regulatory requirements, and the responsibilities of all employees in maintaining a safe workplace. The program addresses key elements of workplace safety, including regulatory compliance, hazard identification and assessment, accident and incident investigation, hazard correction and mitigation, employee training, hazard communication, and program documentation.

By making safety a shared responsibility and a priority at every level of the organization, Stockton Unified School District strives to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses, enhance employee well-being, improve operational efficiency, and promote a culture of safety that benefits employees, students, and the entire school community.
