FAFSA: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a form that can be prepared annually by current and prospective college students to determine their eligibility for student financial aid for college and career school. Applications must be submitted by March 2.

The California Dream Act allows undocumented and nonresident documented students who meet certain provisions to apply for and receive private scholarships funded through public universities, state-administered financial aid, University grants, community college fee waivers, and Cal Grants. Students who live in California and meet the eligibility requirements of Assembly Bill (AB) 540 or AB 2000, as well as students who have a U Visa or TPS status, can use the California Dream Act application (CADAA). The California Dream Act Application can be found by clicking this link.

All SUSD 12th graders can (and should) apply for financial aid! In order to qualify for aid, students must complete the California Dream Act Application or the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). For more information, contact your school counselor.

STUDENTS: be sure to create a WebGrants 4 Students account. This will allow you to manage your Cal Grant and/or Chafee account(s) online by letting you view updates, make school changes, make address changes, make corrections, and post leave of absence requests. IMPORTANT: your WebGrants account does not replace your CADAA or FAFSA accounts. For more information, watch the WebGrants video ~ New Users.
