Home Visits

Child Welfare and Attendance (CWA) has the privilege and responsibility to support students and families. Our work focuses on increasing school attendance through meaningful, relationship-based support.

These efforts are carried out by CWA High School Counselors, Social Services Case Managers, and Truancy Outreach Specialists who are assigned to specific school sites and work directly with students and families.

Our primary goal is to ensure that all students in our community know they matter and that support is always available.

Home visits may be conducted for the following reasons:

  • Attendance improvement recognition
  • Support and follow-ups as needed
  • Address verification
  • Attempting contact when all phone numbers in Synergy have been exhausted
  • Welfare checks
