NCAA Eligibility
NCAA Requirements for College/University-Bound Freshman Athletes
All high school athletes interested in participating in Division I or Division II athletics in college must register with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) upon completion of their junior year in high school.
Minimum NCAA Eligibility Requirements
- Graduate from high school.
- Earn a 2.3 Grade Point Average (GPA) for Division I or a 2.2 GPA for Division II.
- Take and achieve an appropriate SAT or ACT score based on the student’s GPA.

Student-athletes should contact their coach, athletic director, or counselor for specific information regarding approved courses, exams, and eligibility requirements.
