Grant Development & Compliance Department
The SUSD Grants Department pursues and secures public and private funding opportunities that advance the District’s mission and core values. The department oversees, coordinates, and supports grant development activities across the District by assisting teachers, staff, and administrators, and serving as a liaison with current and prospective external funding agencies.
Grant Application Procedure
The following procedure applies to all district staff members — including teachers, administrators, and central office staff — who plan to submit grant applications, regardless of the funding amount.
This procedure does not apply to affiliated groups such as PTAs or school foundations.

Current Grant Opportunities
Current grant opportunities and the updated Intent to Apply form are available to authorized SUSD employees, including principals, administrators, directors, teachers, and other eligible staff members.
To protect District information and prevent unauthorized grant applications from being submitted on behalf of SUSD, employees must sign in using their SUSD staff credentials.
