Career & Technical Student Organizations

Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) are student lead clubs on campus that are linked to state and national organizations to prepare high school students for the world of work. They are all focused on industry technical skills and leadership development to help young people successfully transition into the career field of their choice. The SkillsUSA logo features a red and white checkered flag design with the text 'SkillsUSA' and 'Champions at Work.'

SkillsUSA is a national student organization for secondary and college-age students. This organization is designed to develop Personal Skills, Workplace Skills and Technical skills grounded in academics.  SUSD Students engage in SkillsUSA competitions at the regional, state, and national level.

Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is a national student organization for high school students to prepare for careers in the healthcare industry.
