Pregnancy Medical Leave & Disability
Employees who are unable to work due to a serious health condition, illness, injury, surgery, or pregnancy-related disability may be eligible for medical leave under the California Family Rights Act (CFRA) and/or the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Disability benefits may also be available to provide partial wage replacement during the leave period.
Medical leave may be taken for your own health condition or to care for a qualifying family member, as defined by law. Employees must provide the required medical certification and complete the appropriate leave request forms.
