Constituent Services is committed to supporting Stockton Unified School District families, students, staff, and community members by promoting fairness, respect, and effective communication.
Updated Title
Constituent Services is the updated title for what was formerly known as Compliance Services.
Who Are Our Constituents?
Our constituents include parents, guardians, students, employees, and community members who have a connection to Stockton Unified School District.
Our Goal
Our goal is to provide support by offering a place to be heard, resolve disputes, manage conflicts, and encourage productive communication.
Filing a Complaint
Stockton Unified School District encourages constituents to discuss concerns regarding policies, procedures, or actions with the department, supervisor, or principal most directly involved. Please attempt resolution at the site level before contacting Constituent Services.
Resolution Process
The Board encourages early, informal resolution whenever possible. Constituent Services will determine the appropriate level of resolution.

Constituent Services or Human Resources
Complaints are forwarded to supervisors or administrators for review. When warranted, investigations are conducted and findings are communicated to both parties.
Protection Against Retaliation
The Board prohibits retaliation against complainants. The Superintendent may keep a complainant's identity confidential when appropriate. Anonymous complaints may not be investigated.
Complainants are protected under Board Policy 1312.1.
