Stockton Unified School District is seeking community members to serve on its Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC).

This is a great opportunity for local residents to stay involved and help ensure transparency and accountability in how school bond funds are spent.

🔍 What is the CBOC?
After a bond measure is approved by voters, the District is required to form a Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee. This group of volunteers reviews how bond funds are used and reports findings to the Board of Education and the public.

🛠 What does the committee do?
Members help:

  • Monitor expenditures on bond-funded projects
  • Ensure funds are used only for voter-approved purposes
  • Provide updates and reports to the Board and community
⏳ Commitment
  • Two-year term
  • Meets 1–2 times per year
🚫 Eligibility Note
District employees, board members, vendors, contractors, and consultants are not eligible to serve.
