Medical Leave & Disability
-
Stockton Unified School District offers medical leave to employees who need time off due to personal illness, injury, or medical conditions that prevent them from performing their job duties. This leave provides employees the opportunity to focus on their health and recovery while ensuring their job remains protected.
Employees may be eligible for medical leave under various policies, including FMLA and non-FMLA medical leave, depending on their situation. The Risk Management Department works closely with employees to assist with the leave process and ensure all necessary documentation is submitted.
