  • Hi Everyone!

Thank you to everyone who participated, counted change, collected coupons or helped organize in any way.  You are all awesome!  I am very proud to announce our El Dorado Eagles worked together to raise a grand total of $1860.08 to fight cancer!  That’s amazing what we can accomplish when we all work together as team!  The top classes the fundraised the most were:

    1.       Mrs. McCarty   $ 420.29

    2.       Mr. Has            $198.53

    3.       Mr. Grant         $ 191.16

Since our school raised over $750 our class that raised the most will receive an pizza or Olive Garden party (if our local Olive Garden participates in this program)!  Congratulation to Mrs. McCarty’s kindergarten class.  Since we weren’t able to provide the party this year due to Covid-19 we will have to find a way to get her students together next year for their party.  Way to go Kinder Eagles!

Also any class that raised $100 or more will receive a classroom pennant.  The pennants will be distributed as follows when we return in next year:

    $100 - $199 ................................... A Bronze Pennant

    $200 - $299 ................................... A Silver Pennant

$300 (or more)............................... A Gold Pennant

    Congratulations to the following classes:

    McCarty – Gold Pennant

    Grant – Bronze Pennant

    Rodriguez – Bronze Pennant

    Has – Bronze Pennant

    Rohleder – Bronze Pennant

    May – Bronze Pennant

I also have a folder in the office that I asked Kiyoko to hold with all of the coupon’s that were submitted to me that last week for the ring and bracelet.  I will distribute those prizes to the kids when we return as well.

Pie Face!  We have a separate for envelope with tickets from all of the students who donated to pie face either Mrs. B, Ms. Alston or Ms. Bonzi.  We will draw one name when we return and that student will get to choose who he or she would like to pie face!

Congratulations everyone.  In difficult times like this it is so wonderful to see how all of our Eagles came together for one cause to fight cancer and help those who really need it!  I am so proud of you all!

  • Dear Stockton Unified Families,

This is an important message from Stockton Unified. We believe you may be eligible to get $365 per child to help feed your family, in addition to any grab-n-go meals you may be getting. Because schools are closed due to COVID-19, families who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals can get extra food benefits to help feed their children. These food benefits are called Pandemic EBT or P-EBT. Families will get up to $365 per eligible child on a P-EBT card. You can use your P-EBT card like a debit card to buy food and groceries for your children. Most families who receive CalFresh, CalWORKS, Medi-Cal or other social services benefits will get a P-EBT card in the mail before May 22.

Please keep an eye out for this card in the mail over the next few weeks.

Other families will need to complete a simple and quick online application before June 30, 2020. For more information, visit  https://ca.p-ebt.org/en/info
