Farewell from the Principal
Dear Huerta Families and Friends,
A few of weeks ago, I was offered an administrative position working with k-12 schools in the District and have decided to accept it. I was asked to open up Huerta School and gladly agreed as I could then say goodbye to the staff and students. As you can imagine, it has been a very emotional process for me in making this decision, but in the end, I feel that this is the right decision in my professional career.
I want to thank each and every one of you for all your support, and for entrusting me with your children for the past nine years. During my nine years here, I have fostered relationships with many of you and I will cherish the memories and friendships I’ve made during my time. Huerta has been a very special place for me and I will miss everyone.
Although it’s hard to say goodbye to the parents and adults, the hardest part of leaving is saying goodbye to the children. I have grown so attached to them over the years. I have loved watching them grow up into amazing young people. Please let them know how they all have touched my heart and life. I treasure my memories of them all.
Please accept my sincere thanks and appreciation as I enter into a new learning experience of my own.
With fond memories,
Welcome back to the 2018-2019 school year!
