About MDTP:

According to the developers, "The purpose of MDTP is to promote and support student readiness and success in college mathematics courses.  MDTP achieves its purpose by developing diagnostic assessments aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and supplying these tools to secondary schools in California free of charge."

Stockton Unified High Schools (depending on their needs) administer the Readiness per course tests to identify how ready students are for the course. Administrators may also assess as the end of the course to gauge how far a student's learning has progressed through the course.

• Algebra1/Integrated Math 1 Readiness Test
• Geometry Readiness Test
• Integrated Second Year Readiness Test
• Second Year Algebra Readiness Test
• Integrated Third Year Readiness Test
• Precalculus Readiness Test
• Calculus Readiness Test
• Additional Field Tests are also available

Who takes MDTP Assessments?

• High School students enrolled in a math course, pending the needs of the class.

Testing Window:

• AB Schedule High Schools:
  • Baseline Diagnostic: August 5 - August 16  
  • Final Diagnostic: May 5 - May 23
• 4X4 Schedule High Schools:
  • First Semester:
    • Baseline Diagnostic: August 5 - August 16  
    • Final Diagnostic: December 2 - December 20
  • Second Semester:
    • Baseline Diagnostic: January 6 - January 17
    • Final Diagnostic: May 5 - May 23
