The Pathway to ZERO Emissions

  •

    eTRIP

The Stockton Unified School District is dedicated to enhancing our environmental impact. We are firmly committed to playing our role in reducing air pollution, and we are proud to collaborate with the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District through their Employee Trip Reduction Program, known as eTRIP. This program has been specifically developed to promote the adoption of alternative transportation options, ride-sharing, and various other strategies aimed at diminishing the number of miles traveled by our employees in their vehicles.

The program will be implemented at the four comprehensive high schools, to start. For more information, visit the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District Website

    Electric Buses

In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, one thing we are doing is adding more electric buses. This allows us to cut pollutants and climate-altering greenhouse gas emissions while keeping noise levels to a minimum. Another way we are improving conditions for our students and staff.
