No Unwrapped Class Treats During COVID  (9-10-21  3:00 pm)

    Dear Parents,

Due to COVID-19 restrictions placed on schools, please do not send class treats with your child to school, i.e. birthday cupcakes, unwrapped candies for the class, etc.  Only individually, store bought, pre-wrapped treats will be allowed to be passed out in class, and this will be only at the end of the school day.  Thank you for your understanding as we as a community work hard to prevent the spread of the coronavirus on campus.

    Parents and students,

We need your help by having your child bring the following items to school everyday:

    1.  A reusable cloth face mask, or a disposible mask

    2.  A water bottle that they can refill everyday at school

Many of our students are arriving to school without a face mask and without water!  Students are not allowed to drink water directly from the water fountains due to the potential spread of COVID-19.  Every child has been provided with a reusable water bottle.  Please make sure your child brings their reusable water bottle to school - and they can refill their bottle at school.  Please make sure they also bring a face mask!  Thank You for your support!

Fillmore Opens Its Science Labs to Students!  (8-10-21  11:04 am)

This past year, Fillmore invested in creating science labs for our students to promote scientific learning through observation, experimentation, manipulation, and inquiry while supporting and using reading, writing, oral language, and mathematics.  Just see how our 2nd grade classes enthusiastically enjoyed their first day in one of the science labs observing Madagascar cockroaches lead by Mr. Marcus Sherman, SUSD Science Curriculum Specialist!  And according to Jaden Medina from Ms. Villata's class, "This is the best school ever!" CLICK HERE to see more photos!
