UPDATE (April 16, 2020): Fillmore School Cancellation of Classes Thru The End of The School Year Due to COVID-19

In response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic outbreak throughout the United States, in particular in the state of California, by the Governor of California, Gavin Newsom's "Stay at Home" order, Stockton Unified School District and the San Joaquin County Health Services Department has ordered the cancellation of all classes.  This recommendation to extend the cancellation of classes by order of the Governor of California, Gov. Gavin Newsom has now been extended until the end of the school year (May 28).  All Stockton Unified schools, including Fillmore Elementary, distributed homework packets for all grades in order to maintain continuity to our students' education.  These packets were available during the week of March 23rd (week 1) and March 30 (week 2) between the hours of 7:30 am - 8:30 am (Monday and Tuesday) and 11:30 am - 12:30 pm (Monday - Friday).  During the week of April 6 - 10, Chromebook laptops were distributed to all students and parents who requested one.  Fillmore teachers have now begun long-term online instruction (Distance Learning) with their students and have begun making contact with their students.  Student breakfasts and lunches are still being provided to all students on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:15 am - 12:30 pm at August Elementary, Fremont Elementary, and Franklin High School.  Stockton Unified Food Services will continue to provide student meals until further notice.  WE WANT OUR STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO BE SAFE AND PRACTICE SAFE HABITS IN ORDER TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF THE CORONA VIRUS!

Breakfast & Lunch distribution: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:15 am - 12:30 pm
