    Counselors are assigned by student's last name. Please feel free to contact your counselor Monday - Friday between 8:15am - 3:45pm. If you’d like to speak with your counselor, please email or request to see them by filling out this Form.

    Ms. Rodriguez has been a counselor for over 15 years and working in the District for over 20 years. Before coming to Stagg, she was a Child Welfare and Attendance counselor for 8 years. She looks forward to helping students become successful in life.



    Mrs. Samantha Wirzberger

    School Counselor

    Mrs. Wirzberger is a proud member of Stagg High School’s Counseling team. She grew up in Stockton, attending SUSD schools K-12 and is a graduate of Edison High School. Mrs. Wirzberger started her career as an Elementary School teacher and joined Stagg in 2002 as a School Counselor. She is passionate about helping students achieve their personal best; creating pathways for meaningful careers.



    Ms. Traci Hanson

    School Counselor

    Ms. Hanson graduated Magna Cum Laude from CSU Stanislaus with a BS in Social Science/Political Science/Communication and Sum Cum Laude from Brandman University with a Master’s in Education Counseling. She has been a counselor with the Stockton Unified School district since 2018. Her favorite quote “Work hard and be kind to people. It’s that simple.”



    Mrs. Pat Klopstock

    Education: Social Science - SJ Delta College; (B.A.) Behavioral Sciences - National University; (M.A.) Counseling Psychology - National University. Hobbies/Interests: Spending time with my children and my 17 grandchildren, traveling with my husband, visiting Disneyland, and relaxing in my backyard enjoying our Koi pond.


    Mr. Lisam Moua

    Mr. Moua received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Ethnic Studies minor from CSU Hayward (East Bay) and Pupil Personnel Services Credential/Master of Arts in Education: Counseling and Student Personnel, from San Jose State University.  He brings many years of experience as a school counselor who is inspired to provide guidance and support to all students to be fully engaged, prepared, and ready toward their chosen path(s) upon graduation. 


    Mrs. Heather Peterson

    School Counselor

    Mrs. Peterson is from the Kansas City, MO area and received both her B.S. Secondary Ed., Social Science and M.S. Ed., School Counseling from Missouri State University.  She taught High School Social Studies in Iowa and Arizona.  Mrs. Peterson became a High School Counselor in Missouri in 1998.  She moved to Stockton in 2000 and has been an Elementary Counselor for 23 years. Mrs. Peterson is very happy to be back in High School at Stagg!


    Mr. Andrew Guillot

    Mr. Guillot is an alumni of Dominican University Alliant International. Mr. Guillot has been a school counselor at Stagg for three years.

    Mrs. Angelica Segura

    School Counselor

    Mrs. Segura (formerly Ms. Esparza) attended SJDC, Class of '10; Fresno State, Class of '12 & '15. She began counseling after graduating from Fresno State for the Department of Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services at Missouri State University, located in Springfield, Missouri. She is a Stagg Alumni, Class of 2008. She describes herself as motivated, independent and empathetic.
