We are beyond excited to welcome students back on campus for the 2021-2022 school year.

With some modifications and through received guidance from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), the District will follow the same model prior to the pandemic – children in school, in person.

Students will be required to wear masks when indoors at school, or when riding on a school bus. Masks will be optional when students are outside. Staff members will also be wearing masks when indoors on all of our school campuses. We will continue to practice safety precautions already in place including hand washing, and cleaning and ventilation protocols.

We will not allow normal visitation to our campuses or office buildings until further notice. SUSD will limit nonessential visitors, including parents/guardians and volunteers, as recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the CDPH. Parent/Guardian presence on campus will be limited to student drop off and pick up.

All students will be required to self-screen before coming to school, to assure that they are not experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms. Physical distancing and barriers are no longer required. Students will be able to eat meals at school and receive meals in the cafeteria.
