Mr. Brandon Duncan, Assistant Principal

My name is Brandon Duncan and I have the privilege of serving as an Assistant Principal at Edison High School.  I look forward to working with the staff, students, and the community to make this a great school year.

I have spent the past seven years as a 4th grade teacher at Dolores Huerta Elementary School.  I have been teaching in the district for ten years.  I am a graduate of the University of the Pacific and Southern New Hampshire University, where I earned my degree in Athletic Training and Sports Management respectively.  I also completed my Administrative credential at Teacher’s College of San Joaquin.

My goal is to build relationships with all students, so that I can provide support to help them achieve all of their goals. I am here to help in any way I can and communication is most important, so I can help address any concerns. I look forward to meeting all of the E-HOUSE community that I am not already familiar with, and helping to continue to make Edison the best possible school it can be.

Mr. Anthony DeAngelo, Assistant Principal

My name is Anthony DeAngelo and it is an honor to be serving as an Assistant Principal here at Edison High School.  I graduated from Fresno State where I received a BA in History and completed my MS in Educational Administration with National University.

This is my 12th year with Stockton Unified and my 5th year as an administrator.   In my capacity as teacher, I had the pleasure of working at Franklin High School, Commodore Stockton Skills, and Pacific Law Academy.  As an administrator, I have served at San Joaquin Elementary and Chavez High School.

My vision for Edison High School is to aid students in opening doors to “unrealized” opportunities.  This begins with cultivating a nurturing environment where students feel safe, valued, and included.  We will set high academic standards with appropriate support and interventions to ensure ALL students meet their academic goals. This will be accomplished through the use of our AVID programming and the PLC process.  I will work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community partners to support students through their academic endeavors.  Together we will continue the storied tradition of academic, social, athletic, and extracurricular excellence that is synonymous with Edison High School.

Mr. Joshua Munoz, Assistant Principal

My name is Joshua Munoz and I’m excited to be joining the Edison Team. It’s a great privilege to be able to continue serving the community of Stockton Unified as an administrator. This is my 3rd year in the district as an administrator. Before I came to Edison High, I was an assistant principal at Franklin High. I’ve also served as an assistant principal at Hazelton Elementary.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to teach middle school and high school science. From my experience as a teacher, I’ve learned that building relationships and collaboration is key to succeeding in education. It’s only when we’re working as a team that we’ll be able to increase student achievement.

With this knowledge, I began my career as an administrator in Lake County. In Lakeport Unified, I was an Assistant Principal, Native American Liaison, and Title IX Coordinator. My understanding of relationships and collaboration made me successful in my roles. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to acquire a BA in Biology, a MA in Best Practices, and a MS in Educational Administration. I firmly believe in being a lifelong learner and an example to our youth. It’s for this reason that I’m currently working on my PhD in Educational Administration. I want to constantly grow for myself and for the community that I serve in Stockton Unified. Together, we’ll be able to help graduate every one of our students to be college, career, and community ready. In doing so, we will lift all youth out of circumstances of poverty and scarcity.

Your Servant Leader,

Joshua Munoz, M.S.E
