About the Teacher

    Welcome to Mrs. Rishwain’s ELA and Social Studies Class!  I am excited for this journey together.  This year we will have an additional teacher in the room.  Please welcome Mr. Banuelos to the class.  He is completing his credential through the County and will be with us this entire year.  I look forward to ALL of us rising to the challenges ahead and coming out stronger and wiser in the end.

     

    Class Expectations:

    -          BE ON TIME!

    -          Be prepared with a CHARGED Chromebook, a quiet place and classroom materials

    -          Show your face – so have hair combed and an appropriate shirt on.

    -          Be prepared to be called on and EXPECTED to participate.

    -          DO YOUR HOMEWORK NIGHTLY!

    -          If you don’t understand…..ASK!

     

    ¡Bienvenido a la clase de ELA y Estudios Sociales de la Sra. Rishwain! Estoy emocionada por este viaje juntos. Este año tendremos un maestro adicional en la sala. Demos la bienvenida al Sr. Banuelos a la clase. Él está completando su credencial a través del Condado y estará con nosotros todo este año. Espero con ansias que TODOS nos enfrentemos a los desafíos que nos esperan y salgamos más fuertes y sabios al final.

    Our class is now part of the “Remind” app. This is a way for me to easily communicate with you about our classroom. It is a private app that works like a text message. Please add yourself to my class and send me a message with your child’s name. First, go to the app store and download the app “Remind”, then you simply send a text message:
