Welcome to Room 24, Home of the CSU Monterey Bay Otters!

My name is Ms. Carlbom and I am one of the 5th grade teachers here at August School. I have been teaching since 2007, primarily in 4th and 5th grade, but have also spent several years teaching kindergarten. I received my teaching credential and masters of education at UC Santa Cruz and started my teaching career in Santa Cruz, later moving back to Stockton and teaching in both Lincoln Unified and SUSD. I have made August School my home since 2015, learning and growing with my "Otter Families".  I very much look forward to welcoming you and your student into our community here!
