    School Announcements

      Greetings, Madison Parents,
       
       
      Please remember to set your family up for success by implementing effective daily routines! 
      Morning affirmations, music or events that bring joy when they return from school, healthy balanced meals, and homework with conversations are effective for optimal productivity.
       
      Have a wonderful summer break! Please continue to read daily for 30 minutes each day. We want all Madison students to participate in the District Reading Challenge! The first day of school is July 31st! Breakfast starts at 7:35 AM!
      Parent Orientations are scheduled for the following times:
      July 30th at 3:00 PM in the auditorium 6th-8th - Middle School
      July 30th at 4:00 PM in the auditorium 3rd-5th Intermediate
      July 30th at 5:00 PM TK-2nd in the auditorium and school/classroom tour.
       
      The First Day of School is July 31st at 8:00 AM!
      All TK and Kindergarten parents need to line up with their students outside the front main entrance on Mission Rd. in the front grass area behind their teacher's names.
      All classroom rosters will be posted on the front windows before the first day.

      Madison's students always have homework!  We want to accelerate all the learning lost encountered during previous years. We also want them to continue to complete their reading goals each night. They should be reading for 30 minutes each night using their comprehension strategies of visualizing, making mind movies, connecting, predicting, and questioning.
