School Announcements

    Madison Families,
I want to slightly shift our focus to political matters regarding the 2020 census updates. As of this date, only approximately 60% of the Stockton community has responded and we want to make sure you understand that you are only legally obligated to fill out the total number of people in your dwelling, all other information is optional. As well, our community receives services, finances, and political representation based on family sizes. So please respond to the 2020 census with the total number of people living in your homes. The deadline for Census information is now September 30, 2020.
We've now completed two weeks of September and should be acclimated and normed into our virtual classroom setting. All students should be showing their cameras and attending all live learning sessions every day. Virtual/learning has high expectations and is considered a regular school day. If you need any assistance with routines, please contact your child's teacher and request counseling services.
Thank you for attending our first round of virtual Parent Conferences on Thursday, September 10, 2020. We received great feedback regarding the student-led conferences. Progress reports go home on September 22nd and if you were unable to attend Thursday's parent conferences you are most welcome to set up a meeting with your child's teacher or make contact for additional questions.
Online Book Fair will continue this week along with a plan for our school-wide reading initiative. More to come next week.
Madison Live will continue with the same link. Log on to the Meeting ID number is 943 9435 7273 and the Passcode is 146489. This will also be posted on the website.
Our new student council election results will be emailed and announced tomorrow during Madison Live.
Internet hotspots, AVID planners, and Social Studies curriculum need to be picked up this week during regular school hours.
Finally, you were mailed registration packets at the beginning of the school year, we need your registration forms returned ASAP! As well as the Alternate Income forms that can be filled out online - located on our website.
