Parent Volunteers
Here at Huerta Elementary we are fortunate to have parents who help us daily in and outside the classroom for the betterment of our school and our students. Volunteers help teachers with copies, packets, creating and assisting with fundraisers, assisting with family nights, Book Fairs, participating in PTA, and School Site Council.
In order to become a school volunteer, a parent/ guardian needs to do the following:
-
www.beamentor.org/stockton
-
Provide Tuberculosis (TB) clearance (negative TB assessment or written clearance from physician)
-
Schedule Fingerprint appointment
-
Volunteers will be queried through the national sex offender database annually and, if clear, will be issued a Yellow Volunteer ID Badge for that school year if approved to continue service.
If you need assistance or have questions regarding receiving your volunteer badge or getting finger printed, please contact the front office at 209-933,-7220. Remember to always first check in with our front office and sign in.
