Dear Peyton Families,

My name is Carla Gonzales. Since 1994, I have worked as an elementary teacher and instructional coach, as part of the Curriculum Department and the Language Development Office, and as an administrator in SUSD. Throughout these years, I have developed a strong network of support and resources to assist students in achieving their academic goals.  I look forward to further extending my experiences and learning more about how to support our Peyton students and staff.  I will also work closely with the families and staff to ensure a positive educational experience for our students and help provide them with a quality education.

My goal is to ensure that all students and staff are able to come to Peyton each day feeling safe and are able to learn at high levels. As a result, I have strong expectations of each student, each parent, and each staff member.  At all times, we will treat each other with respect and ensure that our focus is on student learning and making sure the instructional needs of our students are met.

Once again, I am very thankful for the opportunity to serve the Peyton community.   I look forward to getting to know each of you and your children this coming school year.
