You may begin noticing the Ally icon attached to various links throughout the Stockton Unified websites. This icon provides you with options to view that content in alternative formats for better quality, usability, and accessibility. Simply click on the 'A' next to the link to view additional formatting options.
Note for website editors: If you are a website editor, there is nothing extra you have to do to implement this feature other than upload a proper PDF. Documents that are scanned to PDF are not accessible and should never be posted on any of the Stockton Unified websites. Always save the original file as a PDF to meet accessibility compliance. Our web host, Blackboard, uses machine learning algorithms to automatically check for accessibility issues and generate these alternative formats.
For additional questions or concerns, you can email District Webmaster Justin Swenson at email@example.com; or call (209) 933-7035 ext. 2063.
