Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!

My name is Monica Gayle, Principal of Hamilton Elementary and I am excited for another successful year for our students. For those of you that don’t know me, I was born and raised in South Stockton, attended Hamilton Elementary as a youth, and graduated from the University of the Pacific. I taught science in SUSD for 14 years and have been an administrator here for 6yrs, so my commitment to this community goes back decades. My goal in education is to encourage students to be productive, responsible citizens by providing a fun and engaging environment that reflects the high expectations of all students.

We are excited about continuing the school year by creating a positive and safe learning environment for our students. It is our hope that you have spent quality family time together during the summer months and continued to engage your students in some form of enrichment activities.
