ELAC (English Learner Advisory Committee) Meetings

Fillmore parents, join us for our first ELAC meeting of the school year!

Parents, this committee is for parents whose children are classified as English Language Learners (EL) and therefore are studying English as a second language. All EL students must be enrolled in English Language Development (ELD) classes until they are reclassified, according to their overall scores on the ELPAC exam and the ELA iReady assessment. Parents who participate in this committee review the ELD program at Fillmore and give input to the school principal on student achievement (SPSA) and attendance. ELAC meetings are held bi-monthly.

Parents, our ELAC committee will hold its first meeting of the school year on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 9:15 - 10:15 am. This meeting will be in-person.
