Hi.  My name is Terri  Richter. This will be my 22nd year of teaching for the Stockton Unified School District. I have a masters degree in education. I also have special certifications in Reading, English Language Learning, and teaching students with Autism.  I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year!

I believe parent communication is an important part of the educational process.    I will meet with you to address your concerns but I prefer to communicate by email.  I also use a program called “Class Dojo” which will send you regular reports on your child’s behavioral progress.  I will also send pictures and videos of the exciting things we are learning.

Assessments often fall on Fridays.  All assessments are sent home after they are recorded for your perusal. Quizzes may take place on any given day.

Homework will consist of nightly spelling practice and math practice as needed.

I will be assessing each individual student’s needs. They will receive differentiated instruction based upon these results.

I am focused on making this a wonderful year for your child. Working together we can assist your child in achieving all their social and academic goals!
