Stacy Sims
I was born in the Bronx, New York, and have lived in 5 states. I have been in California for 30 years and am happy to call Stockton my home.
I have taught many different grade levels, from preschool to 7th& 8th grade VAPA. I work for The California Arts Project teaching professional development workshops for teachers. Most of that work involves integrating the 4 disciplines of the arts (visual, music, dance, and theatre) into other core curricula (reading, math, science and social studies). Since coming to Fremont, I have been working with the Integrated Learning Specialist Program in Alameda County. I love going into classes to sing, dance, and make art!
My son recently graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston. He plays drums and guitar. We like to go to the beach and visit our family here in California and in New York and Massachusetts. Someday we would like to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. When we are home we like to walk our dog at UOP.
