Mrs. Leon Jones

My name is Muriel Leon-Jones. I have worked at Hazelton over 15 years. I started off as a bilingual aide and in the last few years went and got my Masters in Education at the University of the Pacific. My heart truly belongs at Hazelton and I enjoy working with the parents and students. As a child my dream was always to become a teacher.  I strive each day to make my classroom a positive learning environment. I believe in holding my students to high expectations and believe all students can achieve success. I look forward to watching my students grow throughout the year and appreciate all of your hard work at home. ¡Hola! Mi nombre es Muriel Leon-Jones. He estado en la escuela Hazelton durante los últimos 15 años. Empecé como ayudante bilingüe en español y en los últimos años me convertí en maestra. Crecí en Stockton y obtuve mi licenciatura de CSU Sacramento. Agarre mi Maestría en la Universidad del Pacífico. Todos los dias me esfuerzo para que mi clase sea un lugar de aprendizaje positivo. Creo en mantener a mis estudiantes con altas expectativas y creo que todos los estudiantes pueden lograr el éxito. Espero ver a mis alumnos crecer durante todo el año y realmente aprecio todo el trabajo de ustedes como padres en casa.
