    WORLD HISTORY: World History is a year long course designed to introduce students to important historical events from ancient times to modern times.

    AP US History


    BE PROMPT: Class begins immediately after the last bell rings. This means that you are expected to be inside the classroom and in your seat before the last bell rings. 

    BE PREPARED: Bring all materials, supplies, technology, required work and assignments. All homework assignments will be due at the beginning of class. Cell phones, Ipods, headphones,,,etc are to be put away. No food, drink or gum chewing is allowed in class. 

    BE PRODUCTIVE: Maximize learning time by remaining on task, asking questions when necessary, following directions and remaining in your seat unless you have been given permission to get up.

    BE POLITE: Be nice or neutral to everyone. Swearing, bullying and talking back will not be tolerated. Respect yourself, your classmates, your teacher and the classroom. 


    All students enrolled in Mrs. Wehner's classes who have access to a Chromebook or lap top should bring them to class everyday unless otherwise told not to do so. 

  • Christine Wehner: Social Science Department Chair and WASC Coordinator. I grew up in Stockton and graduated from U.C Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Masters in Education. I began my teaching career with Stockton Unified School District in 2004. Since 2008 I have taught Social Studies, Avid and Leadership at Edward C. Merlo Institute. For the 2020-2021 school year I will be teaching World History and U.S History.
