I have been working for SUSD since 1993 and have taught topics from Algebra Readiness through AP Calc, as well as Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA).

I graduated from the University of the Pacific in 1993 with my BS in Mathematics.  Over my years at Stagg I have completed a Masters Degree, completed my National Board Certificate and have been nominated for (or won) several awards such as: finalist for Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics (twice), MESA Teacher of the Year for the state of CA three times, Cortopassi Family Foundation Teacher of the Year (2014) and the Carlston Family Foundation Teacher of the Year (2008).

I have also been lucky enough to have my MESA team qualify for the State Round of the National Design Competition 12 times in the past 13 years - where we won National three times for: Mousetrap Powered Car, WindMill Generation and Prosthetic Arm.
