About the Teacher

 Welcoming all parents and students to an exciting new school year 2020-2021.  A few facts about myself and teaching career are as follows:  This is my 18th year as an elementary teacher at SUSD and every year I put my best foot forward to support our students, parents and staff.  I have taught 4th grade, 5th grade and 7th grade at Tyler Skills Elementary School.  Please feel free to stop by in room 10 afterschool if you have any question or concerns and better yet I can be reached by email at rmontecalvo@stocktonusd.net.  I believe that every student is gifted and has the ability to succeed.
