About the Teacher

Chris Essien

HELLO

My name is Ms. Essien. I am an alumna of California State University of Long Beach (CSULB) and my teaching credential is from the University of the Pacific (UOP). I have been teaching for many years. I am presently a first-grade teacher at Lottie Gransky Elementary School. I love teaching and I enjoy seeing the progress/growth my students make throughout the school year.

I am the proud mother of two adult children and three beautiful grandchildren. I enjoy singing and working out to gospel music. My hobbies are reading, traveling, and cooking.
