A: The dates for the Summer Intensive are being negotiated.

23. Q. How will new teachers brought on late as a result of layoffs make up what was learned by other teachers during the Summer Intensive?
A: The district is taking every effort to fill all positions as quickly as possible and hopefully before the summer institute. For any instructional staff hired after the summer institute, WestEd will provide a “mini summer intensive” in order to help them catch up. The Director of District Turnaround will coordinate catch-up plans for these teachers.
