HCA Students in the Community
Students are required to complete 20 hours of community service a year, and many students complete twice or triple that number! Our students love to be in the community!
“Thank you again for your help recruiting volunteers for our annual women’s health event. The HCA student volunteers were really outstanding this year! They were by far the best batch of volunteers I’ve ever worked with…..Tiana Midgett, stood out to me and several other members of my team as being an all-star volunteer. She showed great initiative, checked in with us often to see what tasks we needed to be done, and displayed great leadership skills in helping to direct fellow students.”
Jennifer Jones, Dignity Health/St Joseph's Medical Center
"Your students were outstanding at the Heat hockey game last Friday. They were enthusiastic, responsible and determined to make the most of our effort. EVERYONE put on several miles over the course of 4.5 hours!"
Constance Cwynar, American Red Cross
