Blueprint for Student Achievement
The purpose of the Stockton Unified School District Blueprint is to define in context the Programs, Procedures, Practices, and Policies that manage our Instructional Program within a systems approach.
The Blueprint explains the Why, How and What we do. Furthermore, the Blueprint informs our Focus, Alignment, Expectations, and Opportunities of SUSD’s Educational Services to all stakeholders including The Board of Education, Management, Site Management, Teachers, Staff, Parents, Community Members, and Students.
It is our intent that once this Response to Intervention model established in the LEA Plan is implemented, we will have a system in place that quantifies our belief that all students can learn, that all English Learners can learn English, and that all diploma-bound students can graduate high school prepared for college or career.
Beliefs & SUSD Stakeholders
To successfully achieve the goals in the Blueprint for Student Achievement, SUSD must ensure that all students be correctly placed in the right class (program and instruction) for the right amount of time with the right teacher.
High Performing Districts Believe:
- All students can learn
- Success breeds success
- We control the conditions of success
- A focus on results will guide the programs and instruction for continuous improvement
