    My name is Mrs. Baltazar and I am one of the fifth grade teachers at Maxine Hong Kingston Elementary. 

    I was born and raised in Stockton, CA.  I received my B.A. from Long Beach State and then returned to Northern California for my teaching credential.  I received both my Multiple Subject Credential and Masters Degree from Sacramento State.  

    I have been teaching at Maxine Hong Kingston Elementary since the school opened in 2006. Prior to teaching here, I taught in Sac City Unified in Sacramento, CA.  My teaching experience includes the following grades: 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade and 9th grade. 

    I am looking forward to another great year!
